FIELD DIRECTIONS

Agawam

Shea Field

Shea Field is behind Robinson Park School, 59 Begley St Agawam.

From Memorial Bridge: (recommended to go this way during week due to traffic on South End bridge).

Go over Memorial Bridge and follow straight through onto Memorial Drive.
Follow Memorial Drive  past the Big E and bear left to go over the Agawam/ West Springfield Bridge.
Go over bridge and take a right. Dunkin Donuts will be on the right.  Follow straight up hill through two sets of lights.
At the second set of lights you will have Sarat Ford on your left.  Take a right onto Maple St.
After you take right onto Maple St, take an immediate left onto Begley St.  Follow straight up to Robinson Park School.

On the right side of the school there is a one lane access road that goes around the school.  This is very narrow so please drive slow. Go behind the school and the field is right there on the left.

East Longmeadow Fields:

Fields by the East Longmeadow rotary:

10-12 - Leahy Field - Bronco Field (In fenced area)

12-14 - Veteran's Field - Major League size field

Fields at Heritage Park (Near the Big Y Plaza; Across from 99 Restaurant, 390 N. Main St.)

12-14 East Longmeadow High School - behind the school

From Rt. 91: Take the exit that says East Longmeadow, RT 83. Rt 83 takes you to the rotary in E.L. The High School is 1/2 on the right BEFORE the rotary.

From Wilbraham, Ludlow, etc: Take Parker St. to Allen St. which leads to the center or E.L. Go half way around the rotary and go past Veterans Field on the left. The High School will be 1/2 mile on your left.

Granby Fields:

Brown Ellison Park (10-12 Diamond)
Turn onto Taylor St. Take a right at the 3 way stop sign. Turn left into Brown Ellison Park, located right after the farm. Location of Bronco Recreational Baseball games. 35 Carver St.

Dufresne Park (8-10 diamond)

Diamond 1 is on Taylor St,  just off Rte 202, in Granby.  

If traveling north on Rte 202 from S. Hadley:

Travel through historic center of town and take first right onto Taylor St.
The park entrance is on left 100 yards down Taylor St, and ball field is on left.

If traveling South on Rte 202 from Belchertown:

Just before you reach the historic center of town you will pass the park (it will be on your left).
Take first left after park onto Taylor St.
The park entrance is on left 100 yards down Taylor St, and ball field is on left.

Holyoke Catholic Sports Fields
(12-14 Diamond)
(Formally the G.A.A. Park)
Going east on route 202, take 1st right (dirt driveway), past Cindy's Ice Cream Stand. 450 East State Street

Hampden Fields:

(10-12 and 12-14 Diamonds)

Memorial Field (formerly the Rec. field)

From Chapin Street (Ludlow). Follow Chapin Street south from Route 21 through one stoplight to the stop sign. Turn right onto Miller Street/Cottage Avenue and go over the bridge to the stop sign. This is Route 20 (Boston Road). Turn right onto Boston Road and go approximately ¼ mile. On the left will be a sign for Main Street, Wilbraham Center. Take this and follow to the end approximately 6 miles, passing the Hampden Country Club. You will come to a 4 way stop. Go left onto Somers Road, for about 1/10 mile and take the left after the church onto Main Street. Memorial Park is on your left about one mile, across from the Dairy Mart Convenience store.

(8-10 and 10-12 Diamonds)
Thorton W Burgess school is at 85 Wilbraham Road, Hampden, directly across from the Hampden Country Club.

* From Wilbraham: Main Street in Wilbraham turns into Wilbraham Road in Hampden
* From Springfield or East Longmeadow: Allen Street in Springfield turns into Allen Street in East Longmeadow which turns into Allen Street in Hampden which goes to the center of Hampden and then left onto Wilbraham Road.
* From East Longmeadow: Hampden Street in East Longmeadow turns into East Longmeadow Road in Hampden which goes to the center of Hampden and then left onto Wilbraham Road.
* From Monson: Wilbraham Road in Monson leads to N. Monson Road in Hampden which leads to Main Street in Hampden. Follow Main Street to the end and right onto Somers Road and immediate right onto Wilbraham Road.

Longmeadow Fields:

Directions to Longmeadow Field at Greenwood Park (10-12)
From the North and West:
Go down 91 to Exit 1 Longmeadow Route 5 South. You will pass the Indian. Continue South on route 5 to Maple Street, which is the first traffic light past the end of the Green. (Should be the 7th light altogether) approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Maple. About .4 mile on the right you will see tennis courts. Turn right at the courts. Take the first right and park by the pool.

From the East:
Go to Longmeadow through East Longmeadow - Maple St (past the high school)
At the traffic light bordering Longmeadow (Kindercare on the right, Dwight Rd. on the right, Benton Drive on the left) Take a left onto Benton. Go past Industrial Park to dead end. On the left it is Denslow Rd on the right it is Wolf Swamp Rd. - turn right. Go to blinking light at Frank Smith make a left. Go to dead end, which is Maple St. Turn Right. Go straight at stop light past Mobil station. About 2 miles on left will be tennis court. Turn left at tennis court.
Take the first right and park by the pool.

Directions to Longmeadow Field at Turner Park (8-10, 10-12)
From the North and West:

Go down 91 to Exit 1 Longmeadow Route 5 South. You will pass the Indian
Continue South on Route 5 to Williams Street, which is in the middle of the
Green. (There should be a sign pointing left on 192 to East Longmeadow.) Turn left and you will pass between the Community House and First Church. Continue on Williams St. past two traffic lights (Laurel Street and Redfern/Frank Smith where the Christian Science Church is). Between the lights you will pass the High School and a shopping center. Turner Park is about 4 blocks down on the right after the second light. You will go in the entrance just after the park on the right. There is parking beyond the fields. The first field is softball, the middle field is the 75' diamond and the third field is the 60' diamond. Do not park on the street.

From the East:
Go to Longmeadow through East Longmeadow - Maple St (past the high school)
There is a traffic light bordering Longmeadow (Kindercare on the right, DwightRd on the right, Benton Drive on the left). Continue straight on what is now Williams Street and Turner Park will be on the left about 1/2 mile down. You will go in the entrance just before the park on the left. There is parking beyond the fields. The first field is softball, the middle field is the 75' diamond and the third field is the 60' diamond. Do not park on the street.

Directions to DiPippo Field at Storr’s Park in Longmeadow (12-14)
From the North and West:

Go down 91 to Exit 1 Longmeadow Route 5 South. You will pass the Indian
Continue South on Route 5 to Williams Street, which is in the middle of the
Green. (There should be a sign pointing left on 192 to East Longmeadow.) Turn left and you will pass between the Community House and First Church. The first left on Williams St. is Williams Court (cemetery is on the right). Turn left onto at the double sign “Storr’s park, Williams Court “and the feld is at the end of the circle. There is parking around the fields. 

From the East:
Go to Longmeadow through East Longmeadow - Maple St (past the high school)
There is a traffic light bordering Longmeadow (Kindercare on the right, DwightRd on the right, Benton Drive on the left). Continue straight on what is now Williams Street and stay on Williams St. It will go between  a shopping center on the right (Friendly’s) and one on the left (Big Y) and you will stay on Williams Street by turning left after the Big Y and going around the tennis courts. The high school will then be on your right. Stay on Williams St past the light at Laurel St. On the left you will see a cemetery while on the right the sign will be for Williams Court. Turn right at the double sign  “Storr’s Park, Williams Court” and the feld is at the end of the circle. There is parking around the fields.

Directions to Michalik Field at Wolf Swamp Fields in Longmeadow (12-14)
From the North and West:
Go down 91 to Exit 1 Longmeadow Route 5 South. You will pass the Indian. Continue South on route 5 to Williams Street, which is in the middle of the Green. (There should be a sign pointing left on 192 to East Longmeadow.) Turn left and you will pass between the Community House and First Church. Turn right at the traffic light (Laurel St./Shaker Rd) which is still route  192 and continue south past the Longmeadow Country Club. After the country club turn left onto Wolf Swamp Road and continue about 1.5 miles until you see the fields on the right (Twin Hills is on the left). Park along the fence. The field is the farthest away on the Southwest corner (right side) of the complex.

From the East:
Go to Longmeadow through East Longmeadow - Maple St (past the high school)
At the traffic light bordering Longmeadow (Kindercare on the right, Dwight Rd. on the right, Benton Drive on the left) Take a left onto Benton. Go past Industrial Park to dead end. On the left it is Denslow Rd on the right it is Wolf Swamp Rd. - turn right. Wolf Swamp fields are directly ahead on the left just across from Twin Hills on the right. Park along the fence. The field is the farthest away on the Southwest corner (right side) of the complex.

Ludlow Fields:

Chapin Street 12-14 Diamond - From the bridge, by the Old Boys Club: Take a left at bridge onto Center street for about 1 mile. Take a left onto West Avenue. Travel to 2nd right (fork) onto Fuller Street. Go to 1st stop sign and proceed thru. School is on your left, right after the stop sign.

West 10-12 Diamond - From the bridge, by the old Boys Club: Take a left onto Center Street from the bridge. Follow about a mile to West Avenue and take a left onto West Avenue. Follow for 2.5 miles to set of lights. Take a right onto West Street at lights. The park will be about 300 yards on your right.

Whitney 10-12 Diamond - From the Ludlow-Indian Orchard bridge, by the old Ludlow Boys Club: Take a right at the bridge onto East Street and go to 1st light. Take a left at light (Sewall Street) to 3rd stop sign. Take a right onto Howard Street and drive one-quarter; Whitney Park will be on your left. Drive past the park and turn left onto Highland Avenue. Park at the end of Highland Avenue and enter the rear gate of Whitney Park near the state swimming pool.

- From Mass Turnpike Exit 7: Left off exit onto Center Street (Rte 21). Take first left (Sewall Street) and go to first stop sign. Take a left onto Howard Street and drive one quarter mile; Whitney Park will be on your left. Drive past the park and turn left onto Highland Avenue. Park at the end of Highland Avenue and enter the rear gate of Whitney Park near the state swimming pool.

Whitney 8-10 Diamond - From the Ludlow-Indian Orchard bridge, by the old Ludlow Boys Club: Take a right at the bridge onto East Street and go to 1st light. Take a left at light (Sewall Street). Bypass Howard Street which is at the third stop sign and proceed about 1/2 mile. Take right on Baker St. (Diamond is staight ahead). Park on Baker St. or one of the two perpendicular streets.

- From Mass Turnpike Exit 7: Left off exit onto Center Street (Rte 21). Take first left (Sewall Street) and take the second left onto Baker St. (Diamond is straight ahead). Park on Baker St. or one of the two perpendicular streets.

Veterans Park 8-10 Diamond - From Mass Turnpike Exit 7: Right off exit onto Center Street (Rte 21). Proceed .6 mi and take a right onto Chapin at the firestation. Proceed another .6 mi. and take a left onto the access road between Ludlow High School and the Ludlow Town Hall. Bear right toward Veterans Park Elementary School. The 8-10 diamond is the one surrounded by the short chain link fence.

From Rt. Rte 20 in Wilbraham:. If coming from Wilbraham/Hampden take a left onto Cottage St. at the "S" turn near City Tire and the Underpass in Wilbraham. Take a right onto Cottage if coming from Palmer. Go over the green bridge and bear left at the stop sign. Go through two sets of lights and take a right onto the access road between Ludlow Town Hall and Ludlow High School. Bear right toward Veterans Park Elementary School. The 8-10 diamond is the one surrounded by the short chain link fence.

Monson Fields:

To Constantino Field: 12-14 diamond
Route 32 into Monson. Take a right onto Thompson St and then a right onto Margaret St. The field is in front of Monson High School which will be on your right hand side.

To Veterans field 12-14 diamond
Come into Monson via Rt. 32 Main St. past library at bottom of hill take left onto State St. Field & parking to the right at police station.

To Cushman field, 10-12 diamond
Same as above to State street then take first left onto Washington street. Down on right is entrance to the diamond, about 6 houses.

Dr. Rogers' Fields (Upper and Lower) 8-10
From the North: On Route 32 turn right onto Thompson Street which is accross from Wing Medical. Go all the way to the stop sign at the end (Margaret Street). Turn left and go to the stop sign (across the street you will see stone pillars). Go between the stone pillars, drive up the hill, and the fields are on your right.

From the South: On Route 32 turn left onto Thompson Street which is accross from Wing Medical. Go all the way to the stop sign at the end (Margaret Street). Turn left and go to the stop sign (across the street you will see stone pillars). Go between the stone pillars, drive up the hill, and the fields are on your right.

Note: Also known as Flynt Park

Palmer Fields:

Burleigh Park 8-10 and 10-12 Fields - From Mass Turnpike Exit 8:  Take a left off of the exit and travel .9 mi. going through 2 sets of lights.  Travel .4 mi. past the second light and take the third right which is Old Warren Rd.  Park Entrance is one-quarter mi. on the right.   Take road to the end and turn left. 

From Ware:  Heading toward Palmer on Rte 32 pass Roger Reed Fish Hatchery on the left.  Travel one mi and turn left onto Old Warren Rd.  Park Entrance is one-quarter mi. on the right.   Take road to the end and turn left. 

Note: Field 2 is the 8-10 field; field 1 is the 10-12 field - both of these fields are in the park at the end of the road so you must drive into the park and go to the end of the road to get to the fields. Best to park in the park by the basketball courts.

Somers U14
From The North take I 91 to exit 47E (route 190 east). Stay on 190 for 6-7 miles then right on route 83, go 300 yards and turn right on field road/ Parks are 300 more yards on the right, field. Field 4 is all the way in the back. Address is 96 Field RD Somers, CT.

South Hadley Fields:

Beechgrounds Park (12-14) Located at 116 Main St. (From Ludlow Area) - Go past Ludlow Fire and Safety Complex. At the light take a right towards Randall's Farm. Take the first left after Randall's onto Fuller Rd. Go to the end; at the stop sign take a right onto West St. Take a left onto New Ludlow Rd. Go through 2 sets of lights and down the hill into South Hadley. At the stop sign take a right. Go to the end take a left and an immediate left, field will be on your right. Entrance to parking lot is beyond left field.

From Massachusetts Turnpike - Take Chicopee exit 5. Take a left onto route 33 and continue straight for 2 miles. After McDonalds get in the left hand lane. Blockbuster will be on your left. Take a left at the light. When you go by Blockbuster there will be a y in the road stay to the right. Go thru a set of lights and continue straight down the hill into South Hadley the field will be on your left.

Center School (8-10) - Located at 36 Hadley Street (called the Valley Christian School). 
Take Route 116 North to South Hadley center and take a left onto Route 47.  Go about ¼ mile and bear left at the fork (Valley Christian School creates the fork)…field is on the right.

Woodlawn Field (10-12) Located at 45 Dayton St.
From Chicopee/Ludlow (points east):
Take Route 33 (Memorial Drive, Chicopee) north into South Hadley until you reach the Route 116 intersection (Newton Street). Go straight through the light for about 500 yards and take a right onto Fulton Street. Woodlawn Field is about 300 yards on the right.

From Granby (points north):
Take Route 202 south into South Hadley until you reach the the Route 33 intersection. Take a right onto Route 33 north. Take Route 33 north until you reach the intersection of Route 116 (Newton Street). Go straight through the light for about 500 yards and then take a right onto Fulton Street. Woodlawn Field is about 300 yards on the right.

From Holyoke (points south):
Follow Route 202 north into South Hadley until you reach the the Route 33 intersection. Take a left onto Route 33 north. Take Route 33 north until you reach the intersection of Route 116 (Newton Street). Go straight through the light for about 500 yards and then take a right onto Fulton Street. Woodlawn Field is about 300 yards on the right.

Ware Fields:

GRENVILLE PARK
Church St. - 10-U field.
From Belchertown take Rte 9 east to Ware center (Main St), from Palmer take Rte 32 north to Ware center (Rte 9 east, Main St), at 2nd light take left at Library onto Church St, up hill approximately ½ mile, Grenville Park on right across from old Middle School. 10-U play at 2nd diamond, go past 1st diamond, continue straight past basketball courts, 2nd diamond is about 400 yards on left.

KUBINSKI FIELD
Pleasant St. to Barnes (Formerly known as the Pump Field)12-U
Lighted field can accommodate 60 ft. up to 90 ft. bases.
From Belchertown take Rte 9 east to Ware center (Main St), from Palmer take Rte 32 north to Ware center (Rte 9 east, Main St), at 1st light take left by Friendly's onto North St, take 1st left onto Pleasant St, go approximately ½ mile past Aspen Grove Cemetery, take left onto Barnes. PLEASE PARK BEHIND LEFT FIELD FENCE.

MEMORIAL FIELD
South St. - High School and Babe Ruth.
From Belchertown take Rte 9 east to Ware center (Main St), from Palmer take Rte 32 north to Ware center (Rte 9 east, Main St), at 2nd light take right at Ware Co-op Bank onto South St, go about ¼ mi, parking lot on right, field is on other side of parking lot.

Wilbraham Fields:

Spec Pond (10-12 and 12-14 Diamond)
From the North - Interstate I91 south to Springfield, to I291 (Boston/Indian Orchard), to Massachusetts Turnpike Entrance on right head east on Turnpike to exit 7 (Ludlow). Take left onto Route 21, straight through first light, take right onto bridge at next light, take left at light at end of bridge onto Stony Hill Road in Wilbraham; at next set of lights, turn left onto Boston Road (Rte. 20) continue on this road until you see a Storage Facility on your right (across from Post Office), the entrance to Spec Pond is almost directly across the road on the left.

From the West - Massachusetts Turnpike east to Exit 7 in Ludlow. Take left onto Route 21, straight through first light, take right onto bridge at next light, take left at light at end of bridge onto Stony Hill Road in Wilbraham; at next set of lights, turn left onto Boston Road (Rte. 20) continue on this road until you see a Storage Facility on your right (across from Post Office), the entrance to Spec Pond is almost directly across the road on the left.

Wilbraham Middle School (10-12 C Diamond)
From Boston Road, Springfield follow East on Boston Road past the Eastfield Mall and Friendly Ice Cream Corporation. After Ford of Wilbraham make a right at the traffic light (Stony Hill Road). Follow road for approximately 3 miles, WMS entrance will be on the left.

From Longmeadow, Somers, etc. come through East Longmeadow to rotary. Proceed through rotary to Pleasant Street then continue on Pleasant, which becomes Porter Road. At four way stop continue straight (now East Longmeadow Road) Fenway Golf on left. Proceed until you come to stop sign at Stony Hill Road make a left. Proceed about 3 to 4 miles through 2 traffic lights, school will be on right.

Memorial School Fields 1 and 2 ( 8-10 )

Memorial 1 is Green Monster Field, School Address: 310 Main Street, Wilbraham

From the South:
Take Route 91 North to Longmeadow exit. North on Route 5 in Longmeadow to Route 192 East on Williams Street. Williams Street becomes Maple Street in East Longmeadow. Maple Street to East Longmeadow Center.Go across Rotary to Pleasant Street.Follow Pleasant Street bearing right onto Porter Road.Continue onPorter crossing Parker and Allen Streets.Porter Road becomes East Longmeadow Road in Wilbraham.Take left at stop sign onto Stony Hill Road.Proceed on Stony Hill to traffic light; right at light onto Tinkham Road.Take left onto Main Street.Follow Main Street approximately 2 miles, past center of Town and Wilbraham-Monson Academy. Memorial School will be on your right.

From the North and/or West:
Take Mass Turnpike to Exit 7 (Ludlow).Turn right after paying toll - go to first traffic light - turn right at fire station (Chapin Street).Go as far as you can on Chapin St. thru lights to stop sign - turn right - go over bridge and continue to stop sign at intersection with Route 20.Turn right onto Route 20, go under RR overpass, then turn left just past the Wilbraham Fire Station.You are now on Main St. in Wilbraham. Follow Main Street approximately 2 miles. Memorial School will be on your left.

From the East:
Mass Pike (Route 90) West to Exit 8 (Palmer).After exit turn right onto Route 32.Continue on Route 32 to center of Palmer.Turn right at 2nd traffic light onto Route 20.Travel West on Route 20 under two RR overpasses.After the 2nd RR overpass take 3rd left onto Main Street.Follow Main Street approximately 2 miles. Memorial School will be on your left.
